The Deputy for International Economic Cooperation Coordination, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs held a seminar entitled "Strengthening the Role of Indonesia in the 2016 G20" on February 18, 2016, at the Hilton Hotel, Bandung. The seminar was held with the aim of disseminating information about the G20 and its priorities under the Chinese Presidency and the benefits of Indonesia's participation in the forum, as well as obtaining input from participants to strengthen Indonesia's position at this year's G20 forum. The presentation was delivered in two sessions, namely the Finance Track Session presented by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Deputy Dean I of FISIP Parahyangan University, and the Sherpa Track Session presented by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and International Relations lecturer at Padjajaran University. One of the outreach groups, Youth 20 (Y20) represented by Indonesian Youth Diplomacy also hosted a session on youth participation in the G20 forum. The seminar was attended by 220 participants from various Ministries / Institutions and universities in Bandung and closed with an English debate competition with the theme "Increasing Youth Capacity as a Motor for Development in the G20".
