The main commitment made is to refrain from using protectionist policies. The G20 leaders are determined not to impose barriers to trade in goods and investment, not to impose new export restrictions, and to apply policies in accordance with WTO regulations.At the Brisbane Summit (November 2015), the G20 paid attention to efforts to maximize the benefits of the global value chain and the integration of developing countries in the value chain. The Turkish Presidency in 2015 added the importance of joint efforts to facilitate integrated MSMEs in the global value chain.
